    I had it 117-112 Canelo. Only rounds I gave GGG was round 9, 10 and 11. Round 12 was even. It was not a close fight. Anybody else scored it the same way?

    117-111 Canelo was mine. It was a mismatch out there tonite.

    GGG won 3 rds. 4 if you're generous and most of those came late when the match was already lopsided. They gave Golovkin a bone with those scorecards.

    7-5 Golovkin. GGG clearly won the 1st, then took the 9th through 12th. The 6th and 8th were close, but GGG was more accurate.

    Rewatch it, it was far closer than most were processing it, probably due to the horrible commentary. GGG swept the last third of the match, and did enough to edge the 1st, 6th and 8th.

    I thought after the 8th round GGG needed to score a KD or KO to win. The fight is closer if you reconsider the light jabs of GGG that did not create a big impression but touched the target often.

    So, could someone explain, if Canelo is always favored by the judges, why were the judges were so generous to Golovkin in a fight that he won max 2 rounds?

    It was one sided but neither looked great. I had it 116-112 and that was being nice to GGG.

    Hope he got paid well so he can retire now, as a GGG fan that was not fun to see.

    FWIW, I have it 2-1 Canelo (I think he won the second fight)

    If you want to be nice with gg you can give him the first round too. And it is 116-112. NOTHING closer than that is acceptable.
