So sad to see a legend continue to disgrace his legacy when it's very obvious its time to hang it up.
Please get rid of Jonathan Banks, then. What this his gameplan to conservatively outbox Canelo for the third time when you were robbed the first two times at a far younger age? Maybe Golovkin was the one that went off script. But how can you have a gameplan like this and then keep at it even if you get behind five-six rounds? You know what the sad irony is? This time the judges were probably the most 'fair' out of any of the fights, perhaps because Canelo just lost and some of the 'unbeatable' sheen wore off. What that means is that if Golovkin had actually pressed the fight and taken more risks he could have possibly won on points.
Jonathan Banks is a terrible trainer but he was telling Golovkin early on, I think before the 5th round, to "shoot his shots". Golovkin had to conserve his stamina and he was also pretty slow with his hands and footwork. He was also wary of Canelo's left hook to the body.
Golovkin against Eubank Jr would make sense if Eubank beats Conor Benn. It would be a big PPV fight in the UK.
Does anyone think GGG vs Canelo 3 was staged? Golovkin doesn't throw anything Canelo isn't aggressive Golovkin salutes Canelo in the end of each round Although Golovkin wins a max of 2 rounds, 2 judges score the fight 115-113, tribute to Golovkin. (despite the fact that Canelo has always been judges favorite so far in his career) Golovkin says "Canelo is better fight this evening", they shake hands, hug each other and the end. I think everything was arranged.
I think that must be in his thinking, Hearn or similar whispering in his ear telling him there's still some money left on the table. I just hope doesn't go to the well once too often. The signs of slippage have been there for many years, how much money does he need?
At the risk of sounding terribly crude, Banks couldn't train a naturally submissive chick to gag on his schmeckel. Golovkin's probably a miser and Banks is a cheapo option who got the gig through his K2 associations.
lol ESPN gave GGG 4 rounds. Your opinion ain’t the only one out there, dude. Someone on here gave GGG one round last night, like a clown.
