Volume and bodywork Will beat Joyce.

I'd favour a few heavies to do him, and if Joe pumps out that double jab all night then Joyce is in for a long one.

Parker neither has volume nor bodywork.

I was stating what a fighter needs to beat Joyce.

And you said Parkers double jab would be enough to cause Joyce problems. I don't think so. Parker hasn't looked good in a while. I think Joyce outworks him 116-112.

Joe Joyce reminds me of a bigger slower version of George Foreman (the second version)… he’s got a great chin, and heavy hands. But he is soooo slow and can be outboxed by anyone with a good chin, engine and good feet.

Feels like a 50/50 fight against Parker to me. Joyce is already on the downhill slide. Didn't like the way he looked in his last fight at all. I think he even got buzzed and took a step backward in that one. He can't keep eating those huge shots from heavies, it's gonna be bad for his health. If he beats Parker I think that's as far as he can go.

Ask your mate Fury. He reckons Parker by late stoppage or decision.

To be fair, most fans struggle to comprehend why slow-fast speed is so effective, even more so the casuals. Slow-fast speed plays tricks on their mind like an illusion

    Joyce looks slow

    Ergo he is slow

    Speed kills

    Slowness gets killed by speed

    And here's the trick

Their minds are already made up

Big Joe Joyce is slow and that's that

But if he so slow why are all these slow shots landing so consistently?

    Because he's not slow

    He's slow-fast

They're so utterly convinced he's slow it creates a blind sport for them preventing them from seeing that these ''slow'' shots are landing at a very high percentage

Big Joe is as fast as he is slow but they only see slow

    Basically these people DKSASFS

    The myth and delusion of

    Joyce's "Slow-Fast"

Is all about to be found out

And we will return to a world where

    Slow = slow - and - Fast = fast

And never the twain shall meet

The fast/slow obsession is a glass ceiling in the evolution of boxing knowledge. Anyone who consistently ranks fighter predominantly by speed of hand (we all know they don't even look at the feet) is tacitly admitting they DKSAB.

    'He's too fast!'
    'He's so slow!'

Yes, it's better to have fast hands than slow - but give me timing, footwork, ring IQ and stamina over speed any day of the week.

And I'd love to know in all of Joe's fights the ones in which he was significantly out-landed, or at all?

    'he's too fast/slow!'

Exactly. I'm sick and tired of repeating myself

How many times do those of us who actually comprehend the concept of slow-fast speed and why it's such an effective weapon to have in one's armory have to explain this to these unenlightened pig-headed simpletons?

It's been really getting to me recently, to the point where physical violence is the only option left

Can you make using the phrase 'speed kills' a bannable offence?

And will you pin a thread I'm about to write? 'Gary Russell Junior is the P4P no1 and an ATG'

Anyone would think this was a boxing forum.
