    the Film does looks 'corrected', improved and restored however they do that. But it is NORMAL in it's movement and Proper Stock for honest comparison.

    That is the point of the Post.

    You're crazy. Just because it's less than 25% doesn't mean it's insignificant. It's probanly 15.

    The film looks about right to me. It's just that they hired Fred Astaire as the referee. I remember reading somewhere that Ginger Rogers refereed the undercard.

    I didn't say it's insignifcant, only that it's not sped up by a lot. If that's enough to call me crazy, then I shouldn't bother.

    Agreed, there does seem to be a bias , conscious or not against the subjects on old black and white film. It discredits it. You can watch color highlights of sports from the 60's and 70's and the quality in comparison to today and it's really quite poor also .I'm confident if you took Gus and Ron in that video from 1938 and dropped them into the 168-175 division today they'd hurt a lot of guys. Especially when the bell rings for round 13.
