Which fighter have you grown to appreciate more since posting on ESB classic?

    Exactly! You mentioned Ruben Oliveras being underrated and seldom mentioned here. But spare some thought for James 'Hard Rock' Green. An unknown legend.

    Rocky Marciano, always thought he was great but it's been illuminating and his stock has risen with me.

    I've also got more respect for Ezzard Charles as I didn't know much about him before...a very classy boxer.

    Conversely, my appreciation of Dempsey has actually gone down...

    I expect much higher quality of argumentation to persuade me, than is customary for this forum. Say, Adam Pollack's book on Sullivan really made me change my views about him, objective and very informative.
