I got Bowe of the first Holyfield fight by KO in 6 rounds. Much better offensively and faster. Bowe had heart and wasn’t easily discouraged. He would land combos on Joyce all night.
Based on his performance last night, i find it hard to pick a winner, but i would have to slightly edge towards Bowe, like you say the version from the first Holyfield fight, but saying that nothing so far seems to have put a dent in him, it is like the man is possessed, i would have loved to have seen it though...
Bowe. Joyce was such a great watch last night, but I'd still like to see him against a true elite (Parker is Bugner level for me) with sound game plan. Parker entered very heavy giving up speed and stamina for punching power and perhaps durability. The moment it became apparent he can't hurt the Juggernaut, he was in for a bad night.
Bowe wins Joyce has the style that Bowe could look good against, a plodder who comes straight forward. Bowe struggled against boxers who fought him on the outside, not fighters like Joyce who he wouldn't have to look for. Bowe also has the inside fighting skills, stamina, chin, to deal with Joyce's aggression.
Joyce is getting badly overated after this weekend. He beat Joseph ****ing Parker not prime Evander Holyfield. Bowe beats the crap out of him.
true ; however, FairPlay to Joyce it was a sensational KO of someone who it’s hard to look sensational against.
Bowe landed flush shot after flush shot on 205lb Holyfield and couldn't stop him. He was not a hard puncher, barely stumbled Donald with a bareknucked 1-2 in their press conference. Joyce by UD. It'll be worse than the Golota fight.
