Honestly. Currently AJ has nothing to loose. It's not logical that AJ would duck the fight. Its a payday + there is a chance he gets the belt. He would go full war against Fury and Fury knows that. AJ is too risky for now, especially before the Usyk fight. Nevertheless the fight may happen in December, we will see.
That middle weight might just be his downfall. In all honesty I just don't think Fury's heart is in it anymore, he just likes the attention and celebrity of it all. I just take everything he says with a pinch of salt, or bugle which he appeared to have had a very big pinch of. If he knows his boxing, which he does, he’ll know Usyk is by far a harder prospect than Joshua coming off the back of a delilibating loss and short recovery by heavyweight standards.
