I hope not. This guy is unwatchable in every sense of the word. He is corny, boring and stupid. If you search my post history from four years ago, I was high on him, but now... I don't even want to see this guy fight just to see him lose, I just don't wanna see him at all.
Here is the BS I hate about dudes like Andrade... He'll say something like "Oh I tried to fight Charlo but he didn't want it" and we are supposed to live with that excuse infinitely, yet Canelo has said no to this guy 15 times but that doesn't stop him pressing for that fight every chance he gets. Eff this guy and his chitty career. No one will remember him in 5 years
Top Rank would have bidded more money for the Janibek fight than Frank Warren just did for Parker.. It’s a common theme with Andrade every time a 50/50 or 60/40 fight presents itself he finds a way out. Charlo, Korobov, Lara, Derevyanchenko and Janibek.. It’s never hard for him to take the Williams, Keeler, Quigleys, Nelson’s etc… of the world.
As a former fan, what a joke! A quick search showed that he supposedly got at least 2 mil for Quigley. Maybe it is about money, lol. But still, fight somebody!
At this point the only way to redeem himself is to go up in weight & challenge Beterbiev…. Nothing else will do.
Madness. Little wonder he's turning his nose up at the purse offered here to fight a more dangerous guy.
Missed me back in February, but I just learned that the purse bid for the original scheduling of this bout was $1,834,050 (Warren's winning bid for the rescheduling was barely over the sanctioning body's minimum). Have to expect Andrade to balk at fighting Parker for less than $200,000 when he was originally looking at over $1,000,000 (and especially if he really got paid $2,000,000 for Quigley).
I'd say he was the type of kid who would put off going to the bathroom when his favorite TV show was on and ended up wetting himself
This. If Andrade fought Parker back in May he was getting well paid.....now getting pittance. I can see Warren making Parker v Heffron for the WBO title now. Little inhouse fight to get a champion.
Did you all actually believe that he would fight for 180k? Warren knew that this fight wasn't going to materialize when he won the bid for such a small amount.
I think he was getting 1 to 1.5 million a fight his last few outings. Sounds like Hearn was overpaying.
