FWIW I think Wilder is a top 5 HW.

But putting Fury down 4 times and not being able to finish him off means for me his power isn’t what was advertised when he was KOing bums

Joshua has had the contract for 12 days now. How long does he need?

Even Steve Cunningham did that. Whilst he was in his nandrolone phase

The bullshitter Hearn said something did he?

Commercial obligations means Dazn that's it

What else could there be that obliges him to not take the biggest fight in British history. It's simply Dazn as the "commercial obligations" and parties are already aware it needs to be a split broadcast

They are just dragging their feet because they don't want the fight

All deals would be done in a day by your logic then. The fact is for a fight of this magnitude it’s reasonable for there to be some back and forth. I don’t really see the logic in Fury providing artificial deadlines when Warren seemed to indicate that talks were progressing.

Let’s see what happens. I’m probably a fool but I haven’t given up hope yet

Fury is sending a clear message to Eddie and AJ (which means to Eddie):

You wanna play, get in the sandbox.

Eddie taking his toys and running home.

I don’t necessarily think it’s the magnitude of the fight that is causing a hold up , up until now AJ has always been the A side and the one sending the contracts so his commercial obligations etc have also been allowed for.

Now he is receiving a contract which was drawn up by someone who has no idea what obligations he does have, so it just muddies the waters somewhat.

That's very plausible. And BT and ESPN+ won't give up their obligations from Fury either. It won't be hard to work out in principle but placing guarantees on the fight, which will involve guarantees to the fighters and the undercard, will need quite a bit of drafting.

It's quite possible the broadcasters will be asked to organise multi-million guarantees for their rights very quickly, given the fight is weeks away, and even BT can't magic up that kind of cash without a sign-off process.
