I just re-watched crawford vs khan, its not looking good for crawford vs spence

I dont think Spence will run him over, Crawford is too good for that. I do think that will beat him at whatever game Crawford wants to play that night, whether it be in the trenches or in a tactical matchup. Dont get me wrong, Crawford can definitely win this but i just think Spence with his experience going against the better opponents will give him the edge against Crawford that night.

 

Id be shocked if that happens.

One or both guys are cycling. When it's safe to start drug testing, they'll announce the fight. Maybe.

 

Khan can win rounds against any welter in history with his goofy, speedy punches in bunches. The problem is he will always get picked apart and KO'd against the elite. This is why Khan vs. Mayweather had some intrigue. Indeed, Khan WOULD win some rounds against Floyd. Maybe more than most people think. Ultimately, however, he will get timed and damaged.

 

Always thought this too and, dare I say, even gave Khan a chance against Mayweather but yeah, timing is everything and he would eventually get picked apart.

Maybe Khan has the blueprint for Spence against Crawford?

 

Spence will not run Crawford over by any means. Crawford is gonna keep Spence honest because he can crack. That's why Khan played that low blow to the bitter end, He knew the knockout was coming and made a decision. Now it won't be a cakewalk for either Spence nor Crawford when they fight. Spence gets hit a lot more than Crawford and nobody he has fought can hit like Crawford. On the other hand, Crawford has never fought a fighter who is relentless coming forward with skills and power. It will be a great fight.

 

Very true. I said as much right after the fight, but most people disagreed wtih me and said that Khan was getting dominated. Then people excused Bud for the low blow. After a rought start, Khan was coming on and causing Bud problems, then Bud got frustrated and low blowed him. Then Khan was accused of "quitting" who was hit low and using his 5 minutes to recover, then his trainer stopped the fight.

 

It may be similar to Joyce vs Parker with Spence even more dominant. Spence is very difficult to beat at 147 pounds.

 

Crawford’s defence is not great even this version of Kell Brook was catching him with the jab and Spence’s jab is the best in boxing.
