I don't care. 2 Americans fighting each other is not interesting. Western vs Eastern boxers' fights are more interesting.
Most ridiculous reason I've ever heard for a fight of this magnitude falling through. Fight off due to transparency? Are you kidding me?
That's why I won't believe the fight is on until they are both in the ring. They've been negotiating for like 6 months now and nothing has materialized so far. I can't believe the ego of these 2 guys.
Imagine thinking this fight would get made. Like, imagine knowing what we know of these two prima donnas with a grossly inflated sense of monetary worth and thinking this could get done.
When you actually cut down to it the best win BETWEEN between them is Shawn Porter , and one of them almost lost him.. consider too that this is supposed to be the biggest fight in boxing & many people rank both of them in the top 5... that's pretty crap... don't you think the hype is kind of unwarranted? And to top it off they are still dancing around each other and hesitant it's pretty damn pathetic in light of all that.. it's a good fight but I've never thought for one moment this fight was some sort of super fight ... it's just mainly the hype from the arrogant yanks who are struggling lately to put out Talent across all the weight divisions so highlight the ones they are having success in as where it's really at ..
So its Crawford whos the one holding this fight up. He wants transparency related to the events expenses since theres no guaranteed purses in the contract. He wants the abilty to approve expenses for whatever reasons.
