Eddie Hearn says he wants Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) to come back for a “real fight” and he’s looking at Chris Arreola, Demsey McKean, Jermaine Franklin, and Otto Wallin as options for his November 26th fight. This content is protected This content is protected
So Arreola or Franklin it is. He's already avoided Wallin and Hearn will try and protect McKean 0 for AJ when he goes on his irrelevant 'world tour'.
Doubt it will be Wallin whom he's already ducked. Shot Arreola, mediocre McKean and Franklin are far more likely candidates.
In Lomza, Poland, heavyweight Michal Boloz (4-4-2) knocked out the favored Andrzej Wawrzyk (33-2) in the second. This was Wawrzyk's first fight in six years. I remember when Deontay Wilder signed to fight the chinny Wawrzyk, but the Pole tested positive for PEDs and the fight was canceled.
The best part about that fight was that several of us here on ESB predicted that Wilder will try to cherry pick him!
Wow! That wasn't just a KO. That was a brutal one punch KO that was immediately waved off. This content is protected
Boloz looking at his record might have the makings of a solid journeyman. The only time he was stopped was on cuts to Thomas Carty who has good amateur pedigree. If we're lucky we might have another Kamil Sokolowski with this guy.
Speaking of Sokolowski.... He's booked to fight Frazer Clarke on November 12th. Decent test for Clarke.
Nah if were lucky we get him against someone like Joe Cusmano, if we aren't someone like Shawndell Winters.
