Lets face it people, if we rewind 5-6 years, back when people were saying Canelo was avoiding GGG. If I would have told you back then that Canelo would not only fight GGG, but would fight him 3 times, and would end up Undefeated against GGG in 3 fights, no one would have believed me. Canelo did way better against GGG than anyone thought he would. Give the man his flowers. What he accomplished in the 3 fights vs GGG was legendary.

GGG had 3 chances to beat Canelo. Each time GGG tried, each time he failed. GGG came close twice, which is to be commended, close but no cigar. Before they fought the first time, GGG was expected to destroy Canelo. Canelo stood no chance, they said, against the mighty Middleweight Boogeyman. But like David who slayed Goliath with a slingshot and a stone, Canelo used his quick feet, his agile reflexes and his big fists to conquer GGG, not just once but twice. Canelo is undefeated vs GGG in 3 matches. GGG was a man that was said to be unbeatable. GGG may have been unbeatable, until he fought Canelo that is. GGG finally met his match, it was the red haired kid from Guadalajara who conquered the Middleweight and Super Middleweight divisions and beat the unbeatable.

Wow you're really salty about Canelo losing to Golovkin twice. Maybe you should try getting outside every now and again.

I'm sorry to report that Canelo has never lost to GGG. You're the one suffering from copium and spinning space ball GGG losses into wins.

Can you make it an option to change your vote? I think a lot of people mistakenly voted 2-1 Canelo when in reality we thought we were voting 2-1 GGG

Canelo NEVER won those bogus decisions to 1 & 2 by his skills...
The NSAC & Vegas boxing officials gave him decisions he did not deserve That my friend is what I'd call CORRUPTION!!! They got #3 right,. at least 2 of the judges did
Bivol schooled him, GGG schooled him TWICE!! Lara & Trout both really beat him too. Now he's crying:crybaby2::crybaby2: he was fighting injured ROFL. What he did was practically criminal
The pansy deserves your flowers LOL:eaea::eaea:

He made easy work out of GGG with an injured hand!! And CJ didn't you say that if Canelo legitimately beats GGG you'd be the first to congratulate him? Well if the first 2 fights were too close to call, where you could make an argument that GGG should have won, the 3rd fight certainly wasn't. What's your excuse now? The least you can do is show that you're a man of your word and do what you said you were gonna do.

Canelo won that last fight clearly, no controversy like the first two now was there. So lets hear it boy!!

It was because Canelo was the better man each time. Casuals use terms like "boxing is corrupt" as a crutch to make excuses for why their fighter lost. Sometimes there is merit to it, and I'm not mad at fans who think GGG won either of the first two fights. I'm not saying it's crazy to feel that way, but the fact is that Canelo took GGG into deep waters the first time resulting in a hard fought draw then he beat him fair and square in the middle of that ring x2. If you can't tip your cap to Canelo for performing well above expectation x3 then you ain't being honest with yourself. Canelo performed well enough to win x3, GGG performed well enough to win x2. Those first 2 fights could have gone either way, but the better man won the rivalry.

In totality, Canelo was just better than GGG. If what happened had to do with GGG's age, then GGG wasn't all he was cracked up to be. Before they fought, how many people thought GGG wouldn't be able to beat Canelo because he was suddenly aging rapidly? No one. You're making convienient excuses for why GGG wasn't victorious against Canelo. The judges saw what they saw. They saw Canelo landing bombs on GGG in all 3 fights. They saw GGG outwork Canelo at times in that first fight, but they also saw Canelo use his agility, ring generalship and counter punching to win exchanges which frustrated GGG. We can go round and round about the first fight till the cows come home but deep down we all know what happened. And if there was any doubt who the better fighter was after the first 2 fights, Canelo put that to bed by dominating GGG in the 3rd fight and winning the trilogy.

GGG won the first fight wide and was robbed. Won the second fight close and was robbed and a decrepit and over the hill version of GGG lost the third fight wide. 2-1 GGG
