Prime for Prime Evander Holyfield Vs Tommy Morrison. Why didn't this match up get made? What do you think the outcome would be? We are talking a fully focused Morrison and the best Holyfield here?

I like Morrison's left hook and body shots landing but Holyfield keeps coming forward a throwing combinations unrelentlessly with no regard for his own safety and scores a stunning KO.

Also at what stage in Morrison's boxing career did he start taking steroids?

Could be like the original Holyfield v Stewart fight in that we see Holyfield, throwing leather at Tommy, having to take some sickening shots, getting rocked but coming on back to stop him.
An hard fight for the Real Deal.

Morrison used steroids since the start of his career. It's claimed that he got HIV from contaminated needles before turning pro.

Holyfield is not the hardest Heavyweight puncher, but he has enough pop to KO Morrison who's chin is below average.

I think it would be an entertaining fight, Morrison might have his moments rocking Holyfield. But overall Holyfield has the chin to withstand it and fire back, and I see Morrison being stopped in 8 or 9 rounds of an entertaining fight.

Very, very exciting fight. Morrison had a lethal left hook and was an underrated body puncher too. Hoylfield would inevitably get drawn into exchanges and would quickly abandon any gameplan to outbox Morrison. This could lead to Hoylfield suffering a flash knockdown, then roaring back and breaking Morrison down with high volume and good fundamentals. Eventually Hoylfield scores a knockdown of his own and stops Morrison within 8-10 rounds. Both guys would have headaches and bruises all over.

I think Evander forces a stoppage at some point but it would be a nice little war before it happens

I bet on Holyfield here by KO or stoppage. The fight would probably turn into a war. Despite the power advantage Morrison has, he lacks the chin to survive a war with Holyfield, while Holyfield had the chin to survive a war with Morrison.

Would be horrible for Holyfield's long term health though. Would never be quite the same after. The first war with Bowe took a lot out of him. A war with Morrison has the potential to be worse due to that left hook.

Van Holyfield vs Tommy Morrison. Put ‘em together and you got Van Morrison !! Holy should win but it would be a fun brawl while it lasted

Holyfield TKO Morrison late after taking some serious damage in return, a little bit like the Cooper fight but lasting longer

The real question is who has the better PED's out of the two blatant PED abusers.

As to why it was never made, Morrison was rarely an important player in the division. He had a couple moments where he seemed to be turning into something but always reverted to form in his next important, or sometimes non-important, bout. Doesn't make for a lot of windows of opportunity to find a Holy looking for a decent opponent.

While we the fans would be feeling ‘Crazy Love’ for this bout, it would be no ‘Moondance.’

It would truly be a ‘Wild Night, but when it’s over, Tommy will be reeling for ‘Astral Weeks’ with his head spinning as he recovers.

I would guess Evan Fields given Lee Haney was advising him.

So Vaughn Bean was a important player......Bert Cooper..........Alex Stewart x2.......Bobby Czyz.......?

I guess Morrison was "important " enough that Lewis gave him a shot.
