I wouldn't be surprised to Ryder get the stoppage tbh. Parker still hasn't mixed it at the top level and I could see Ryder putting pressure on him that he's never faced before, taking him into deep waters and drowning him. If the fight happens that is.
Ryder fan but I think people are sleeping on Parker, I think I'd pick him against Ryder. He seems to have improved a lot, against Willams he had one arm for virtually most of the fight. Williams got robbed no doubt about it but you need to look at how Parker has performed recently and with two working arms!
Nobody is really proven until they actually get in with someone of a decent standard, I wouldn’t let that put me off Parker in this one, I would certainly have Ryder as a favourite, but I don’t think it’s a one horse race. Stylistically one thing I do like for Parker is he’s very decent inside, which is Ryders bread and butter, if he can win that battle, being the much bigger guy means he should be able to win the outside work, even if he’s not shown much of it recently. Would be a good fight, probably won’t happen.
Parker is a massive, strong unit at the weight. He can fight on the inside and outside, and looks like a better fighter than Ryder to me. Of course he hasn’t mixed in the same company as John, so it is a big test. I would go for Parker on a close points decision. I hope it happens, but if there is a fallout from the pending calling off of Fury -AJ talks, this might be a casualty.
