When fans compile rankings (in this case "head to head"), I actually quite like to see active fighters in there. It makes the lists current and dynamic. Anyone who has Fury in their top 50, fair play. Top 20, why not? (can always be shifted higher or lower in future). Top 10, maybe pump the breaks. But let's see. All the best

the Fury nonsense is really quite concerning, in that Boxing Must be pretty bad as a whole, if Tyson Fury is representative of Boxing greatness(???).

the whole Fury psychosis is almost as bad as the whole Leftist Social Political beliefs and FORCE.

    in short, it's ridiculous.

Maybe neither here nor there for some folks because he is still huge but Fury is not 6’9”. Ballyhoo. More like 6’7” - 6’7 1/2”. Fury himself even admitted to just 6’7” on one occasion. For comparative purposes just re size, height and reach, think 6’6 1/2” Buddy Baer to Joe Louis. A bit less so in height and reach and more notably less in size, think Terrell to Ali also.

You know, I think Sonny might just jab the hell out of Fury for the win.

I mean, I'm sure he lands with some really scary shots, but Fury might be able to slither and hug without falling.

I can see Fury landing some himself, but never really hurting Liston. Sonny would win based upon both aggression and landing the most effective punches. It would be jab school for Fury.

Maybe the best tactician, yes, but a bit further down as a technician.

I agree. For his size he is certainly technical.

Usyk, on the other hand, isn't just technical for his size. If he was a WW, I'd still consider him to be among the most technical, perhaps the most technical, in the division.

My point was that we can't predict how a version of Fury, who was made Usyk's size, would perform.

At the same time, I am not sure one could confidently state that Usyk has faced anyone better, pound-for-pound, than Fury.

My hypothetical wasn't a science fiction shrinking process. Just if he was 6'3 220 lbs with exactly the technical prowess he has now to Illustrate that I think it would make him much more vulnerable. I think he'd look poor compared to the best that size, like Briedis.

Even more so if he was made 6'0 and a LHW or SMW.

Make Usyk the size of even Crawford or Spence with the exact technical prowess and I think his technique would hold up just fine against them.

I think Fury's unorthodoxy, ring IQ and reflexes stand him in good stead against anyone.

Crawford and Usyk both fought Shawn Porter.
