everything wilder said toward fury after their three encounters. i am really a fan of neither fighter but wilder was being unbearable in his attempts to explain his losses.

Muhammad Ali post Joe Frazier in 1971 said that the reason he lost was due to poor and prejudicial judging to his credit years later he said " Joe deserved to have won that night". Ricky Hatton post interview against Floyd Mayweather said it was a "fluke" that he got knocked out. David Haye claiming he had a broken toe while fighting Wladimir Klitschko. As mentioned by Tockah Deontay Wilder 's heavy outfit depleting his strength during the Tyson Fury rematch ,most recently the diatribe and outburst and tirade made by Anthony Joshua after losing his return fight with Olexander Uysk claiming he isn't a 12 round fighter despite actually having gone distance in previous fights.

AJ v Usyk, post fight is a fever dream breakdown of AJ.

Man, he had so many crazy reasons and he kept making new ones. certified bum behavior if you ask me.

Can these top level guys not have grace in their defeats?

George Foreman claimed in his autobiography By George that he was about to knock Ali out but got distracted by his friend in the audience betraying him by rooting for Ali.

Kermit Cintron said he was bothered by the fumes from Sergio Martinez’s hairspray.

Hector Camacho said he gave a bad performance in a fight because his mother gave him a mean look in the dressing room and it bothered him all throughout the fight.

Wilder, of course, and Foreman said pretty much the same stuff (except the robe) after losing to Ali.

Those two are the standouts to me because they blamed it on members of their own team. You don't get lower than that.

Honestly, the way he handled his loss worsened his reputation far worse than the loss itself. At least in my eyes.

In fairness to Ricky Hatton, he was joking with the "Fluke" quote.

I can't find it but I thought it was Jeff Lacy who insisted in his way past prime career that the opponent he met at the weigh-in was switched out with a bigger opponent on fight night? Someone used this excuse for why they got fidget-spun around the ring.

After being KO’d by Louis, Galento said IF his corner let him (Galento) fight the way he wanted (“his” fight) he would’ve “moidered the bum”.

must say, against Louis, it was a shock NOT to see the old stick and move Galento we came to know and love. LOL.

Bottom line: Galento fought exactly like Galento in there with the Brown Bomber - unfortunately for Tony, Louis fought exactly like Louis also.

Sharkey said the vision of the ghost of Ernie Schaaf distracted him when Primo hit him with the KO uppercut.

Ali said he was looking at Cleopatra (Elizabeth Taylor) when Cooper cracked and dropped him with the left hook - Ali was joking of course.

Machen and Folley (Williams too?) claiming retroactively that Liston dipped his gloves against them - their claims only seeing the light of day AFTER a caustic substance found it’s way into Ali’s eyes by accident in the first Liston fight.

To be fair to Galento, Louis had just used his head as a heavy bag.
Galento also thought he'd knocked the champ down twice too.
The pummeling that Louis dished out in the 4th round was gruesome.
