[PRIME] Wladimir Klitschko vs. [PRIME] Joe Frazier

Wladimir's 11 year world class undefeated run at HW is more impressive than any run from Frazier, despite Wladimir's early losses. It's like holding Pacquiao's early losses against him, when he clearly improved later.

Klitschko boring decision. I doubt he goes for the kill in this fight, probably just keeps holding whenever Frazier gets even somewhat close

 

Frazier did well against boxers it was sluggers like Foreman, Bonavena, that gave him more issues. Obviously Wladimir's reach, height, size, are massive obstacles Frazier has to over come and i make Wladimir the favourite. But i give Frazier a decent chance of landing something big on Wladimir and finishing him off, Frazier was able to beat Mathis, Bugner, Ali, who are all 6'3+.

 

You’re right he isn’t like Ross Purrity, his chin is much weaker.

 

Frazier just isn’t durable enough to see 12. Every time he fought a puncher he was on roller stakes.

If there's a referee respecting the rules and sanctions the clincher for excessive clinching (thanks to which he was so successful), Wlad will star putting his left leg in front of his right as he always does after one-two good punches to the face, so Frazier will make him squint. If the things go as they were for the entire Wlad's "dominance", I mean clinching all the way, it'll be a boring decision win for him.

Mormeck is much better version of Frazier and he failed big time.

 

Joe by late K.O. Both Wlad and Vitaly get 1 or 2 knockdowns early in the fight. Joe keeps smiling, keeps moving forward and breaks them down.

Don't get me started on Joe vs George because the fighter that showed up to Jamaica in 1973 already climbed the mountain and was nothing like the fighter that pre-FOTC to FOTC version.

 

Love Smoking Joe, he was a real warrior but there's little chance a 5'11 (tops) short armed Frazier gets past Wlad's telephone pole jab
