When rating fights that are competitive and continuous with punches flying everywhere how do you rate this among other all classic bangers?

In no order, great HW fights between two non-champs:

    Tua-Ibeabuchi
    Lyle-Foreman
    Ali-Norton 2
    Tyson-Ruddock 2
    Lewis-Mercer
    Bugner-Frazier

    Good list.

I'd add Holyfield vs Steward I and Derrick Jefferson vs Maurice Harris

As above, it's one of the top fights for a non title scrap. Brilliant fight, and a brave one for both men to take actually.

Tyson-Ruddock 2 had everything. There were these two hard hitting heavyweights throwing bomb after bomb, brawling after the bell, delivering low blows, getting points deducted. Oh and amongst all that there was a pretty good boxing match taking place.

For me it's Mercer vs Cooper. What a tear up that was

Not a lot of skill on display in that one. Rather it embodies a lot of what’s wrong with modern boxing, hands up taking most shots on the gloves, limited head movement, predictable and rudimentary exchanges playing over and over… I can’t stand it personally.

The only Tua that I recognize is the QB for the NFL Miami Dolphins and he is not an idol, Tua Tagovailoa.
