Spin doctor Trafford has spoken. Eubank is the one who comes out of this with his reputation in tatters.
I think the discrepancy is about when. Benn was asked "did you reach out to Chris THIS MORNING" (I've no idea where the interviewer got the "this morning" from ), .. Benn wasn't listening fully, he was just trying to remember his prepared "some meaningless words script". Chris did hear the "this morning" in the question, and answered accordingly. I think there was some "haven't spoken since all this broke in the media" reference from him or the interviewer, but I'm not going looking. I reckon they prob did speak, sometime soon after the 23rd Sept when the results were given to the teams. Don't think there's any need to call any of them a liar, it's just misunderstanding somewhere.
I think you could add "awful" to the descriptions. Looks as emaciated as Josh Taylor did for the Catterall fight and he was rank rotten that night.
It would have been quite interesting for him to have had a "brain scan"** to show if his brain was shrunken enough with the dehydration to be a significant danger above the normal level. Obvs he wouldn't want to publish it, but you know ..... Anyone know if rehydration clauses have to be declared to the BBBoC for sanctioning of a fight? Surely they do as part of the contract? But Iittle is surprising me the more I learn ... ** if such a scan exists.
No about being dishonest at all. He answered the question of that morning. He spoke to him prior to that when the test was failed. it was all settled 2-3 weeks ago
