Who you got and why? The Ruslan who destroyed Alvarado and made him quit vs the Rios who destroyed Alvarado in their first fight.

Damn what a war that would have been. Provo was a little more durable than Rios, Rios can outfight him maybe, but i just think Provo would have been too strong.

Ruslan was a tank. He would outlast anyone in a pure brawl.

    Ruslan

Rios would end up crying, tears streaking down his face, squealing to Max Kellerman all over again

Man, this would be a scrap! Phone booth fight for sure. I don’t know why, but I’m leaning Rios.

    Again?

Let’s not forget that Ruslan got outboxed by Algieri and John Molina. Not that Rios is going to try and outbox him.

I'm picking Ruslan purely because I miss watching him fight.

I'm going with the consensus, Provo would be too much. Better chin, more power in a slug fest would see Provo come out on top.

Rios had the better workrate. I think he could outwork Provo for a UD.
But a late TKO for Provo is more likely. Rios would get hit a lot, while winning rounds. Maybe to much.

Yeah, Provodnikov has to be given the edge here. Neither guy is going to give an inch, so it comes down to a compound of who hits harder and who can take more. Bam hit pretty hard and could take a lot, but Ruslan was just something else in his ability to withstand punishment, and I'd credit him with the heavier hands.

Terrific fight, anyway. Loved both these guys.

Rios was a walking punch bag and a weight bully who only did well when he was fighting smaller dudes below 140.

Rios Alvarado 3 shouldn't have been sanctioned. Disgusting it was. Alvarado was basically a crackhead pulled off the street at this point needing a payday.
