Absolutely, yes. Would be a good matchup, but Hunter will likely avoid him.

He's not that good, but he is a big, hard-hitting and fun fighter. Hope he gets a big fight but it will probably be someone of Rudenko, Hammer or Kingpin level.

He's very overrated. He'll be ktfo before the end if 2023.

It seems like he might be regressing fighting these bums. Getting active is a good thing, hoping the Takam performance woke him up a little.

Yeah its pathetic that Fury find and excuse not to fight him, even as Makhmudov poor performance in his last fight. That speaks volume for "our" HW Chump.

Cool, nice to see him fight again so soon. He should be doing at least 3-4 fights per year. Let's see who he faces.

I said if he looked poor against Takam he needs to take a step back and reevaluate himself. Since he did, in fact, look poor against Takam I reckon he should work on his framing a lot more. His distancing is poor, he smothers too much and throws the wrong type of shots at the wrong moments. Way too many OH rights against Takam where a solid uppercut and body shots would have worked much better. I'd like to see him in against a solid but tricky guy next like Jerry Forrest (a step down from Takam but providing a different type of challenge) or maybe even Hunter. He doesn't need another easy mark that'll just drop from the first shot he throws. Those don't grow you as a fighter.

He looked off against Wach as well. Was missing wildly and eating a few right hands from the slow-handed Wach. Definitely a lot to work on, but he certainly can crack...

Good analysis, to me he looks like a fighter that has built his career on power alone against lower level competition and that's not out of the ordinary really ,but if,,, and when that fails him , he'll need something else that I haven't seen yet. I don't know the extent of his trainers ability but he needs to teach him how to use footwork to cut the ring off and make opponents exchange. Your excellent point of lack of a jab will be hard to fix at this point but it's doable , I think he should fight far more often even against lower level opposition to hone the skills he lacks, like Foreman did after the Olympics , he fought 37 times before the Frazier fight and learned what he needed.

That's a fight I'd like to see. Both limited, both have big right hands and are open to right hands, could be fun while it lasts.

I think Ajagba would be a good choice for a next opponent to make Mak look good and Ajagba is dangerous enough with his power to ensure it's not foregone conclusion. But I just see Ajabga as too easy to hit, even more so than Mak.
