You guys know deep down PBF would put on a 12rd counter-punching clinic vs. Margarito

Also Floyd cant tie up Margs when he is in trouble or tired Margs would be landind so many uppercuts it wont be funny
Floyd is not strong enough to hold Margs huge ass body for 12 rounds

Cintron couldnt do it for 5 rounds and look at the size difference of Cintron and Floyd

You somehow believe that Floyd needs to back somebody down to move out of the way?

Margarito can walk through all the punches he wants, he won't catch Floyd like he caught Cotto.

If Cotto could put on a boxing clinic like that for 6 rounds, there is no doubt Floyd would do the same for a longer period of time. He would also do it better than Cotto did in regard to hitting Margarito and not being hit in return.

I don't understand how anybody who follows boxing can believe Margarito has anything more than a punchers chance in this fight. It is a total mismatch in favor of Floyd.

If you look at it this way, the only thing Floyd would be giving up in the fight is strength and chin. Even when it comes to strength, Floyd is very under-rated. Every other boxing attribute is advantage Floyd, and by a large margin.

Floyd would never trade with Margarito like Cotto did. Fact is, Cotto had a stupid gameplan and it lost him the fight.

"Cintron couldnt do it for 5 rounds and look at the size difference of Cintron and Floyd"

Don't compare Cintron with Floyd, rofl

Thats just the thing.....Cotto did well for the first half landing cleaner and better shots upstairs without stopping to trade with Margarito......but the thing was, Margarito was in that first half of the fight was in the midst of setting up a real strong foundation that would benefit him in the latter half.

While Cotto boxed and moved and won most of the early rounds.....Margarito was providing suffocating pressure tearing into Cotto's midsection.

Sooner or later with that kind of suffocating pressure being provided, you either have to stop and fight, or rollover from exhaustion.

There has'nt been a fight yet that I've seen where Mayweather uses the ring to dance all night.
In fights such as DLH, he spent quite some time on the ropes shoulder rolling and playing defense from there.
......of that, I'm certain Mayweather would not be able to do vs Margarito.
Unlike DLH who is'nt a physical fighter, Margarito is just too physical on the inside for Mayweather to consistently have to deal with.
.....as someone already mentioned, its going to be a body beatdwown and uppercuts galore on the inside.
....sure Mayweather is going to get his hacks in as well from the ropes.
...but Margaritio would gladly take three of Mayweathers shots to get off one of his own.
My point however is that for Mayweather to win, he's going to have to keep it at center ring, lateraling and circling......but to win, he's still has to throw shots......and when he lands those shots, if they dont faze Margarito, God help Mayweather.

Can Mayweather dance at center ring, have the stamina and be diciplined enough not to sit on the ropes when he's feeling tired from the pressure?
.....because I guarantee you during the long haul of the fight, Mayweathers legs will grow tired from the pressure.

Margarito is nothing like Baldomir, DLH, or even Hatton, as far as providing constant pressure, being able to absorb incoming, and at the same time not be dettered to keep on coming.
In that sense, Margarito is a totally different animal.

Can Mayweather stay off the ropes for the long haul is a big question in my mind in a fight against Margarito.
If he can, Mayweather wins a UD......if he does'nt, like he did Cotto, like a big tidal wave, Margarito eats him up late and stops him!

I tell you, if Mayweather could do it, it would be beautiful to watch.
Its why this fight should be made!!!

......then again, Mayweather already turned down 8 mil at a time when his biggest payday had been 1 mil. Mayweather might know something alot of us here dont know!:hey :yep

OK, IS is just me or can no one else even remember Floyd getting hit with an UPPERCUT. You keep saying that AM will land UPPERCUTS ALL DAY LONG and I dont even remember FLOYD BEING HIT CLEAN SINCE ZAB JUDAH round 4...and we all know how that fight turned out. Floyd by an embarassing 12 round decision. Worse than Winky Tito

So true. His chin was/is one of the best out there. I have no doubt that Margo/PBF would go the distance with these guys' chins, and do people honestly think Margo can take the decision? :patsch

Unless we get some insane refs scoring ONLY for aggression, ala 120-108 for Navarro over Mijares, PBF would put on a boxing clinic and take a UD

cottos chin have been tested quite more often then pbf as, if you groupies would simply no a bit more about boxing then pbf, you would know that, I know a 36 old mosley would proly not stop him, but he sure as hell had a good chance of beating him.

I think it would be an easier fight than he had with DLH. Just bc Marg is not very fast and I think Floyd's foot work would allow him to avoid much of Margs offense. the only problem Floyd would have is if Marg was able to get Floyd to the ropes a few times a round. The body work would be a factor if Floyd decided to get lazy and fight off the ropes against a guy like Marg. but other than that I feel a 12 round UD would be likely in the outcome of this match.

If Floyd allows Ellerbe to give him severe rectum damage and then still enters the ring, thats his own fault.
