Ward had round 10 offered to all 3 judges. Without that he would have lost by little. Canelo had a full card offered by Byrd and round 7 offered by Feldman.
Zero and i mean zero arguments for Ward winning this. You have to be beyond deluded to score it for Ward.
Definitely Ward. I thought Canelo got a gift in a very competitive fight. Kovalev vs. Ward one was one sided for 6-7 then scrappy in the last 5.
Both were terrible, and clearly egregious robberies that altered the course of the robbed boxers careers. they were objectively wrong decisions, and taken together, in the short period of time that it happened - it was hard to shake the feeling that it was all part of a greater plan to bring the spotlight back to the major US market (yea I know Canelo is Mexican, but he is a star attraction for his US promoters) and away from lesser marketable Eastern Europeans.
Kovalev was shafted worse and it isn’t even close. A) It was to take Wards 0 B) He won a far clearer decision and scored a knockdown. GGG did get robbed in the first fight but not to the extent Kovalev did, IMO
