This is Wilder's modus operandi, he just beats tomato cans and promotes himself as a great fighter, when he hasn't defeated one quality opponent in their primes in his entire career! Until he knocks out a quality opponent in their primes he'll always be a bum tomato smasher to me and many others. Helenius was a not a quality opponent like many thought he was and the fact that it was sold as a PPV is ridiculous, this was not a PPV fight.
Dont hate appreciate. Ill tell you what, the Heavyweight division is more exciting with him in it, then without him. Quit complaining.
AJ's team have offered him the fight numerous times and he's rejected it...I think AJ knocks Wilder out...
Wilder as deficient as he is technically makes up for it big time with his confidence by sticking to what he knows best. If AJ fought Hellanious, he would take a couple of rounds before deciding whether to go for the ko.
Anything is possible but I only see AJ getting KOd. Wilder is unpredictable, powerful, rangy and game. AJ will get caught at some point and it will be lights out. Especially with this new damaged AJ.
Lol, before the fight, people were saying "Helenius will KO Wilder", "Helenius has a real chance in this fight", "If Wilder beats Helenius, it would be his second best win" etc Then when Wilder wins, it's back to the predictable "Helenius was never good anyway"
Honest question, whose the best fighter that Wilder has a ~50 percent chance of beating. I'd say usyk and Joshua
No, Joshua would have a 75% chance of beating him, Usyk nearly a 100% chance. Wilder's management will keep him away from those guys, but Ruiz is easy to hit and could be next.
