    No, official scorecards at time of stoppage was all in favour of Margarito.

    Had the fight not been stopped, it would have been 106-101 in the 11th.

    It was an amazing fight they both did a great job. cotto came in with wunderful boxing skill's i thought it was floyed in cotto's body that night. And marg. came in with a chin of a bull that couldnt be put down. this should go down in history and we should see a cotto vs marg.2 and maybe even a 3 thatz how great the fight was to me...

    Yep boxing needs a rematch between Margo and Cotto. What it doesnt need is Pac vs De La Hoya

    Yes, some of them have shown class.

    Many of the have also said:

    Cotto is still#1 at WW!
    Cotto is still P4P higher than Margarito!
    Cotto didn't get a beating!
    Cotto really kicked Margarito's ass!
    Cotto was winning at the time of the stoppage.
    Cotto made Margarito look like a fool up untill the stppage.
    Cotto was clowning Margarito.

    I have been on here numerous times since the fight, and every single guy with a Cotto reference as his name on here, or a Cotto picture as his avatar, or indeed anyone who identifies themselves as a Cotto fan, has said their boy fought well, but he was beaten by the better man on the night. Yes, they backed their own fighter before the fight as most fans do, but I haven't heard any excuses. Any Cotto fans I have noticed posting have showed both great dignity in defeat, and admirable support and loyalty to their man- ie, exactly what true fans should be like.

    Cotto was in prime condition and threw everything at the man, and the man just kept comin'.

    No need for this rematch, we saw the best Cotto vs Margo. He came up short, and will everytime.

    Cotto's fans want to see him broken late again? Earlier? With fans like these he dont need enemies.

    COTTO CAN'T WIN! - He can't stop the man and will be on his bike everytime they fight.
