Nothing Fury and Wilder are elite and Helenius is B level at best.
Wilder could still be the second/third best HW in the world today.

Fury got caught by many of them shots in the 3rd fight but he is protected by a higher power

Fury's job on earth was to rid the devil out of Wilder who acts as a vessel. That job has been done physically but spiritually Wilder still has to accept them defeats to be free. One day he might accept it.

Fury only got dropped due to complacency because of how easy he was finding performing the baptisms and 2 of the 4 KDS were back of the mind shots and Fury was an inactive shell of himself in Baptism I and he was way below his best in Baptism III because of the terrible camp he had after contracting Covid and his newborn being gravely ill in hospital.

But why was Helenius so overconfident and complacent?

For all The Dosser's faults the one thing we know is he has a deadly right hand, so why leave yourself wide open to the only weapon he possesses in his arsenal and the only thing you have to be on guard against?

Fury has great awareness and see punches coming. Fury has better recovery powers.
Helenius has terrible defense, didn't have any plan to control the distance, and even if he did, probably didn't have the skills to implement it. Helenius strength is his offense, and in this situation, Wilder's punch got there first while Helenius was coming forward, ignoring defense like a dummy.

George Foreman once said, "You follow a boxer you take his crown, you follow a puncher, you get knocked down"

What I thought was interesting was that Helenius appeared to be emulating Fury. Rather than fight tall, he chased Wilder and I actually thought it was working some.

To me Wilder looked skittish and unsettled for the first two minutes. He tried one Hail Mary right hand but otherwise was on his bike. The 2018 Wilder would not have done that.

But Helenius took it too far and get reckless. He saw Wilder on the ropes and went for a KO, lunging in and getting met with a right hand he didn’t expect.

Fury while coming forward putting Wilder on the backfoot was still defensively responsible and knew when to take a brief step back and when to come forward and smother Wilder.

Hellanious is not in the same class.

He came slower and didn't clinch on after sending his shots.

What did they do differently.Fury outclassed Wilder in all three fights. The only thing Hellanus did was get knocked out by one punch in the first round.

This seems pretty easy to answer. Helenius didn't do anything differently. Fury was also caught and, like Helenius, he went down. The difference is that Fury has a great chin and fantastic recuperative powers while Helenius has the chin of a mere mortal.
