I reckon tucker has a great chance of beating wlad. he could punch and box and had a great chin

tysons win over him is very underatted

Tucker was not an exceptional fighter, he had size and skill but did not have the IT

    Wlad on points.

Wlad is better than Tucker in every department except for speed.

But, Wlad is very fast in his own right for a big man so it wouldnt make much difference.

Wlad: UD (in an absolute snooze-a-thon). Tucker was very, very ordinary indeed.

Well, Tucker boxed in an earlier era than Klitschko. So using ESB logic, he has faster hands, better technique, a better chin, more power, better footwork, and is technically & physically superior in every way. So:

Tucker by KO 15 sec. of 1st round.

Tuckers chin was better, that is a given. Wlads lack of mental toughness gives anyone with a half punch and some determination, a chance to beat him on any given night.

tucker was solid, his only losses before aged 35 are to two atgs: lewis and tyson and he didn't do so bad in either of those fights. the problem is he doesn't have too many signature wins either (mccall, douglas). but he was big and atheletic and with good ability. those attributes alone make tucker different from almost any fighter wlad has faced.

Tucker was solid, just didn't develop, so he has a slim chance of beating Wlad.

Many have not seen Tucker fight I see.....

Wlad in a very, very easy UD.

Tucker was a very good fighter and was arguably the biggest waste of talent from the mid to late 80s. He was 6'5 with a long fast jab, was nimble and quick on his feet, had a great chin (went the distance with Tyson, and years after this when he was past his best went the distance with Lewis) and enough power to KO many HWs.
He suffered from bad management (barely got any money from his fights in the 80s due to his crooked father) and drugs. Michael Spinks dropped the IBF title rather than face Tony Tucker. I have the feeling many people here haven't seen the Tucker that faced Tyson, he was a very good boxer that was the first to wobble him. Keep in mind he broke his hand early in the fight and had to fight one handed for the rest..

If Tucker shows up in shape such as against Tyson, I wouldn't be surprised to see him beat Wlad. Tucker has the edge over Wlad in everything except power, although Tucker had a good uppercut, a punch Wlad doesn't throw.

Lol well in all honesty he did have faster hands, a way better chin, and physically was faster and more fluid than Wlad. Technique wise Wlad has glaring weaknesses such as him clinching because he lacks any mid to close range fighting.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha .......good one

Toney tucker lost every time he stepped up, an not just against lewis an tyson,,,,,,,,,an besides those two, who else did he fight,,,,who buster douglas, who keep in mind is over-rated cause beat tyson,,, so I ask again, on an elite level, like the one wlad is on,,,,who did tucker beat....orlin norris was probley is best victory,,,,,,,Wlad would of stopped tucker, late in the fight like tony thomson, would no question by the use of ESB logic, tucker then would of been called over rated an no question tucker would of been stopped by lewis an tyson withing 15 seconds of the first round

Tucker went the distance with Lewis while much past his best and went 12 with prime Tyson. He wouldn't get knocked out by Wladimir.

Comparing Thompson to Tony Tucker shows you haven't seen him fight, he was much better.
