    Was a great fight. Marshall looked alot bigger than Shields in their but she did enough to earn everyone's respect after looking completely out of her depth in all pre fight events

    Taylor got a gift a few fights ago and arguably lost to Serrano although i scored it a draw or razor close for taylor and she's not as accomplished as the GWOAT.

    I did mention that but if that's the case then we have to hold the men to the same standard. For instance, Jermello is ranked in the P4P top 10 but he clearly lost the first Castano fight and he has that controversial decision against Vanes too and the official loss against Harrison

    And Clenelo has had numerous controversial decisions/robberies go his way

    It's about the skills that were on display. Taylor and Serrano's fight had a lot of slop in it. Very little defense from Serrano and none from Taylor. They didn't have to work that hard to hit each other. Basically a slugfest. On the other hand Shields defensive skills were on display throughout her fight with Marshall. One could see real boxing IQ at work. The people got what they were looking for and there was no doubt who won the fight, whereas with the Taylor fight, just as many people thought she lost as thought she won. Shields vs Marshall is the largest and most watched women's boxing event in history and that's a fact.

    Your original comment made it seem like you were saying that how much the fight sold somehow increased her case as goat. If that wasn't what you meant then I misinterpreted it. Sorry about that.

    No way, I was really dissapointed in Marshall, however it was much closer than most people say.
