Good fight for Jared Anderson. Nice seeing him in with a recognisable name.

Takam, should have gotten the decision against Helenius, I thought he edged Parker.

Anderson is pretty flat-footed and he's downright sloppy for the first round or so. But Forrest is no virtuoso, himself, and certainly not an accurate or high-volume puncher. He can bang a bit but he's not a guy who is putting you down with just one shot. If Anderson makes a couple mistakes - I don't think Forrest is likely to catch him with something huge.

I feel like Forrest punishes bad habits without a high risk of him really taking over a fight, unless Anderson has some serious mental weakness.

This is good, I think they are catching him before the "beating on tomato cans" bad habits set in.

His last two opponents were reasonably-game and OK technically but neither was known for having particularly heavy hands or a great chin. So, yes, this is a step up.

Some people have suggested they are padding Anderson's record as aggressively as they were padding Deontay Wilder's. That's just crazy. If you look at Wilder's record in depth - I don't think Wilder fought a fighter at Forrest's current level until somewhere around his 28th, 29th, 30th fight or so. And I'm not Forrest's strongest supporter.

Looking at the early records of both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua - I definitely think Anderson's opponents through 13 fights were better overall than Fury's and more-or-less comparable to AJ's.

IMO, no. But it's still early.

Anderson would be working on trying to fill up a Toledo amphitheater at this point (like AJ, Fury, and Wilder) while Big Baby Miller and Michael Hunter prepare for the biggest American HW showdown since Tyson-Holyfield but those two dim bulbs bobbled a 9 figure bag.

So now Wilder will be fighting until he's 45 and Anderson is trying to carry the division in America because there isn't anyone else.

In other words, he hasn't pulled three upsets in a 15 year, 45 bout career. He has gotten some brit stoppages.
