Yeah, its true but with the difference Joshua never had Aids or undisciplined life issues. So..as unfortunately there are more versions of Morrison caused by the fact Aids didnt allow him to be always in shape, imo, the best Morrison's version always beat (and badly) the best Joshua's one above all that seen with Ruiz and in the two bouts with Usyk.

 

I'd say he's overrated if anything. People only remember him because he had a few good looking KOs in his career, he was a fancy agressive puncher and people love such fighters. The truth is that Morrison was never a top tier contender and he accomplished nothing relevant in his career on a world level

 

Correct. He is much closer to Dillian Whyte than he is to AJ. That is a 50/50 fight if there ever was one.

Yes. It came out in a lawsuit in the last decade:

 

HIV was asymptomatic for Morrison until after Lewis beat him up. Notice that his weight never dropped.

 

His weight was the same but who knows if this disease has influenced his stamina abd his chin. He lasted 12 rounds with Foreman and won.!

 

Not much of an accomplishment for a contender. HIV doesn’t really wax and wane like that. Without meds, there’s gonna be a long asymptomatic period preceding weight loss, infections, and other tell tale signs. Morrison passed his physicals and maintained his physique. He didn’t look affected by HIV until that ridiculous 2000s comeback.

 

There's been a story going around for a bit now that he was diagnosed as HIV positive in 1989 I believe. I find that very difficult to believe however.

 

The only thing Morrison has on AJ is slightly more ko power.
