I stand by that. Anytime Loma fights with a size or power defecit he shells up and goes into a low output style. Hes afraid of going out on his shield. He doesnt want a war. Hes afraid of getting into a war. And hes afraid of getting knocked out.

But whenever he fights a guy who has no technique. Or a guy he has downloaded and figured out he goes bonkers and launches an avalanche of angles and power punches and destroys. He has no problem picking on overmatched opponents. Or smaller men like Rigo. Then he spins around them and show boats.

He fights Ortiz this weekend. Who is a young, tough and physically strong fighter, but very crude in technique. Once Loma downloads the info he needs he will bully this guy.

Hes no Duran. A fearless smaller man who wasnt afraid of much bigger stronger men like Leonard, Hagler, Hearns.

So you're saying he's a smart fighter who adjusts his style depending on his opponent, therefore giving himself the best chance to win. More boxers should be like that.

The problem with Loma is that he started his pro career way too late i think, Duran was very young when he started his career.

The only fight he did that was against Lopez in the first half of the fight he still came on strong in the second half despite fighting with a bum shoulder. You make it look like he has made a career out of doing what you said in reality it was one fight and most of his fights where against bigger guys with more power than him and he took the fight to them. You talking rubbish mate.

    Idiotic post.

    Tucked tail against Lopez?

Well behind in the fight, Loma bit down on his gum-shield and spent much of the second half of the fight right in the middle of Teo's blast radius.

To say otherwise reflects either 1) an abject inability to process/interpret what your eyes are watching or 2) laughably tranparent bias.

The entire fight matters. He ran away for 6 rounds because he was terrified of the Size and power combined with an underestimation of Lopez's delivery system.

Did Lopez's size, speed and power handcuff Loma early in the fight? Absolutely. In fact, I think Teo's speed/quick trigger troubled Loma the most.

You, however, claimed that Loma was a "frontrunner" who tucked tail and ran, a ridiculous assertion that is demonstrably false.

Frontrunners and bullies don't press the action and operate at ranges that place themselves at considerable risk when they are well behind on the cards against a bigger opponent.

I hate Mayweather and I never saw Floyd run as bad as Loma did against Lopez and that's saying a lot cuz Floyd was a track star.

He should never have been fighting Lopez in the first place. His natural weightclass is lighter. He should have stayed in his lane and beat the shyte out of his natural division and then we wouldn't have silly threads like this one.

The entire fight doesn't matter in the context of proving your hypothesis wrong.

Lomachenko is my boy. He's in my Top 3 of active fighters. The only thing I can criticize Lomachenko about is his blatant duck of Pac.
