    no.
Britain has produced a lot of top middleweight boxers. Herol Graham was good but not the best.

interestingly. so far in the thread I don't think anyone has mentioned a fight he actually won . he has 48 wins in his record. but we discussing his losses because he lost to some good boxers?
i think he was a top middleweight but not the best ever of British middleweight. & no I certain cannot see how him above Randolph Turpin. it is long debate if he was even better than Tony Sibson honestly.

    Not even close,

what they don't 'openly' tell us about Graham is, "that He HAD 3 Shots at a Title and lost each time..."

now a loss isn't always a bad thing, but considering what we 'know' about the Business & Corruption of boxing, well MANY, MANY a Top Contender and even the Obvious Challenger(s) DIDN'T always get their Shot, many of which were far better fighters than Graham throughout Boxing History.

Especially in the Historically Rich Middleweight Division.

Graham, though a good fighter, was Modern Media Hype and advancement, Like Sooooo Many others too.

Graham will go down as another nearly man in the UK middleweight division along with master boxer Len Harvey and his adversary and Guinness book of knockout resident, Jock McAvoy.
A lapse of concentration against a renowned concussive puncher was criminal on his behalf. In boxing concentration is as fundamental and important as breathing.
Graham wasn't unlucky anymore than Jackson was lucky.
