How did Ray Mercer outjab Lennox Lewis despite giving up 7 inches of reach?

    7 inches is a huge amount of reach to give up. Could it be that Lennox Lewis is overrated?

    If Lennox is overrated then what is today's era lol? Mercer basically walked through everything Lewis threw, he had a chin made of granite

    Because reach doesn't equal a free real estate. Plenty of ways to get past reach advantage even without going all out.

    It's all about technique, speed, quality feints, movement, and especially timing and ao on. Million factors involved. Usyk also gave huge reach advantage to AJ, but AJ struggle to land anything.

    As far as the fight goes, watch in the Highlights, you would say Lewis dominates, but scoring it round by round, very close fight and you can make a case for Mercer won the fight.
