i agree that the ref should have stopped it or give him an eight count but the boxer himself could have taken a knee and his corner should have throught the towel...

 

well the guy beating him was mexican and you know how them klanmen like helping out mexicans over blacks...

 

damn, very bad reffing like when Duran fought Davey Moore. Moore was out on his feet and the sadistic ref allowed Robert to keep banging on him. Shameful

That was some pretty shitty refereeing. I suppose he went on strike in the ring and showed just how funky **** can get if the referees' contracts aren't restructured.

 

what is worse is the ref did not stop the fight. if you notice he sent garcia to the neutral corner and looks as if he is beginning a count.

 

That had to be a long time ago. Shameful job of refereeing, though. There's never any reason for a fighter trapped in the corner getting hit with bombs to continue, especially when he isn't throwing back.
