The whole "everyone is ducking AJ" Matchroom PR spin is played out Mitch. No one is ducking the cash cow who gets rolled by 25/1 fringe contender fat Andy and x2 by a light punching ex-cruiser. If you're big on "resume" and not a complete hypocrite then guys who draw with journeyman Forrest, scrape past Zhang with a controversial decision (Zhang also drew with Forrest) and go 50-50 over 8 rounds with Carlos Negron (the last guy who did that was Breazeale) are not in better form or more proven than Wilder. You were apparently surprised that Wilder fought the "too dangerous", "high Euro level" Helenius, so it would hardly be the first time you were proven wrong to a comical degree when it comes to Wilder. You should hold your horses on Wilder-Ruiz because that fight is coming in the 1st half of 2023, maybe early. If Wilder demolishes Ruiz as most of us expect him to, the hype for Wilder-Joshua is going to become very intense. No one (at least those who aren't heavily invested in not seeing Joshua get sparked out) wants or is going to want to see a crap fight with the unknown and boring *Frank Sanchez* over Wilder-Joshua.
50/50?? come off it haha. Joshua is far more proven at the high level, he just gave the p4p number 1 Usyk a good fight.
Whyte's punch resistance seemed to deteriorate straight after that fight, and has become increasingly worse. Joshua's boxing ability hasn't got worse since then, but he's generally not as quick to let his hands go. I think he'll be fairly confident against Whyte. It's a tough one for Whyte who doesn't seem to really believe he can beat Joshua. It's still more interesting than Washington.
white will give it a good go but one good hard punch and that will be that he loves a pound note and will keep getting knocked out by any good opponents hes past it now
Those Joshua fights were very straightforward for Usyk and Joshua's meltdown at the end of round 24 was a realization that he lacks an elite skillset.
Hunter gave him a better fight and has improved since. Watch the Usyk AJ fight again without commentary AJ really did not do a good job, improving on a bad performance does not make his second performance “good”
Hunter has done absolutely nothing since 2019 and looked awful in his last two or three. He is also not a heavyweight and is fat at the weight. Usyk is lean at the weight and was boiling down to cruiserweight.
