Take away his hammer and hes nothing, you have to be properly equipped (quote of Joe Louis).

Which fighters do you think can stay away today from Wilders right hand, take away his hammer and win for sure?

    Usyk? Joyce? Ruiz? Other?

    Only Fury and Usyk can.

Joyce would have a lot of success and would take his power for a while with that granite chin of his, but I think Wilder would land a big one on him eventually

Ruiz is a fat midget. He looked terrible against a 50 year old, shot to pieces, Ortiz. If he fought Wilder 100 times, I am not sure if he would win one time.

Joyce vs Wilder is a very intriguing fight... if for nothing else to find out, if Joyce's chin really is as undentable, as it has so far appeared to be!

@Big DramaShow I don't think Wilder is able to land his killer right on skilled boxers with similar size. He won't KO Joyce.

@Big DramaShow I think if Joyce has "a lot of success" it might be too late for Wilder for with that success he's going to be landing those heavy juggernaut shots and I think Joyce could stop him.

How good is Wilder at this stage now though? He is no spring chicken anymore. We will have to see how he looks in his next fight to really gauge if he still has "it"

Wilder vs Joyce would tell us alot about how good Wilder's power really is, and how good Joyce's chin really is.

I would love to see it just for those questions to be answered.

Fighters like Trinidad, Corrales, Zamora, Cuevas, Shavers, etc would beg to differ as far as one punch fighters go. A lot of the time when they got you, you weren;t going anywhere.

You don't always need to avoid Wilders right hand, you can knock him out first.

I think Joyce could do what Fury did in the second fight as that's his natural style. Either man could win.

Wilder has no talent to be a boxer... he was lucky to have a punch and that's how he managed to earn money... Fury buried him and taught him that talent is needed in boxing

Wilder could beat Ruiz pretty much exclusively using his left hand, I don't see that fight being competitive.

Usyk could potentially stay away from the right hand for 12 rounds. But everyone would feel that Usyk was in danger.

Joyce could potentially take Wilder's power and grind him down late but it remains to be seen. Wilder would land on Joyce more often and more flush than he did on Fury and no one is invulnerable.

Wilder is a big question mark. He has only faced one guy worth a damn and that guy isn't exactly highly proven against quality opposition himself.
