    Journalists outside the UK tend to do a better job covering controversial incidents in British boxing. They have less skin in the game, won't be as affected if someone takes offence and curtails their access etc. Dan isn't saying anything that home grown journos aren't thinking, but they're forever pulling their punches because next week they'll be sent to cover a fight with the same promoters, managers, broadcasters etc and without their cooperation they'll be submitting a very empty report.
