I think you are stuck in the past mate. I used to suffer from the same mental illness but I eventually opened my mind and broke free. Every champ looks good relative to who they beat in their era. Mike Tyson (who incidentally I idolise) said it himself. Times change, science, nutrition, biology and training methods all change. Looking good in the 60s is not the same as looking good today. I believe that skill-wise a prime Mike Tyson was the best of all time, but I also concede that the 80s are not remotely comparable to today. It's just the way it is. These guys are just too big. Having said that, even a 6ft Fury would still be way up there and would certainly beat the likes of Jimmy Young.

See for yourself. According to you these are all world beaters but Fury is completely useless. https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/9379 Absolute insanity.

Too big?Tucker,Holmes,Tillis were 6ft5 while Fury is 6ft 7 at his best. And these guys were just better than Fury with better skills and footwork.Today Tyson would look even better against those no skill stiff giants.Mike beat many guys Furys size in his prime even Fury said Mike would beat him like a drum.If nutrition changes all those things why 30s speed record of man running is not broken yet?Bigger is not better especially if there are no skills.Fury would get beaten badly by Jimmy Young because Jimmy is just better in everything.

Floyd Patterson is second fastest boxer next to Ali, even Tyson was not fast as him.Ingemar used to kill fighters with a punch.
Yes they were better than Fury.Patterson beating Fury would be like Haye beating Valuev but with even worse ending and that would be knockout.

Youngest man (until Iron Mike Tyson) to win the heavyweight title and the first to reclaim it. He was the quickest heavyweight not named Muhammad Ali and arguably had the best left hook of any heavyweight not named Joe Frazier.

In his prime he lost four fights, two each to Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston, arguably the number one and number two heavyweights ever.

He was the first one to adopt what known as the “Peek a boo" style, which was designed for a smallish heavyweight. The similarities between Patterson and Tyson are uncanny. They were both a couple of teens going nowhere but jail when Cus D'Amato found them and moded them both into champions. A couple of smallish heavyweights he led to the title. The key difference, for a few years Iron Mike Tyson was the most dominant heavyweight on the planet. Patterson's legacy will always be tainted by the fact he ducked No#1 contender Sonny Liston for 3 years.

You seem to have the opposite extreme bias of always favoring the older fighter.
There is no running record from the 1930's, the most extreme is rarely from the 1980's.
Just the worse tracks & equipment would make this almost impossible.
What record are you thinking of?

Lol this would be cute until you realize Foreman won the title in 1974 and then won it again in 1994 and then fought until 1997. Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali were pro when Foreman retired. Foreman fought people that Wlad and Vitali fought. Foreman fought people that Lennox Lewis fought. Wladimir and Vitali became champions after Foreman retired. Wlad was champion until a few years ago.So if boxers were so bad in the 1990s then how was Wlad champion until 2016 or so?

Also I can tell you are either 12 years old or just a clueless boxing fan. The moment you say boxers from the 1970's, 80's , 90's and early 2000s are too small for today's heavyweights I know you are a child. There were tons of 6'5 plus heavyweights since the early 70's. You know what is even more funny and how I can tell you are a 12 year old kid who doesn't really watch boxing? Andy Ruiz is 6'0 tall and was heavyweight champion recently. Alexander Povetkin is 6'1 and was heavyweight champion recently. Joseph Parker is around 6'3 or shorter and he was heavyweight champion recently. Luis Ortiz is around 6'3 and was heavyweight champion recently. Hell the current heavyweight champion is 6'2 and 200 pounds

Let me guess, you will say but Tyson Fury is 6'9 and champion. Tyson Fury is 6'7 is that. There were guys like Jack O'Halloran who was 6'6 240, Al Jones 6'5 230, Leroy Jones 6'5 250, Jimmy Abbott, 6'5 250 plus, Roy Williams 6'5 230, Chuck Wepner 6'5 230, Gerry Cooney 6'5 230, Calvin Gross 6'6 240, Lou Esa 6'5 250, Bob Renfrow 6'7 250 plus, Orville Qualls 6'6 260 plus, James J Beattie 6'9 240, Horst Geisler 6'6 260 plus. Should I go on? It is funny how people like you don't understand evolution.

Tommy Morrison and David Tua had hooks just as good as Mike Tyson. Tyson's hand speed was no more impressive than Michael Dokes.

The 6'1 Derek Chisora has 12 loses and is fighting Tyson Fury again. I bet you don't have a problem with Chisora's record.

Yeah I am pretty sure you are trolling or maybe in the real world you don't have any friends so you need attention online. Larry Holmes turned pro in the 1970's and beat Ray Mercer years later. The same Ray Mercer who fought Lennox Lewis to a close fight. If every 10 years fighters get better then how could this happen? Corrie Sanders turned pro in the 1980's and destroyed a prime Wladimir Klitschko a fighter who turned pro in the 1990's. yet Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury two guys who held the title recently struggled to beat a old Wlad. If fighters were better now then why couldn't Joshua and Fury destroy a old Wlad who turned pro in the 90's? Stop trolling kid or at least be more creative with your trolling.
