Who's worse, Hearn or Don King?

Don King killed two people. He also stole money off numerous fights all the way up to Daniel Dubois recently. Anyone voting Hearn or Shalom over King is either a hater or stupid.

King generated a lot of cash for boxers and boxing. He actually did do a service to the industry.

His ethics are what damns him.

What has Hearns done that has changed the industry for the benefit of boxing and boxers?

No doubt he has pretty **** ethics, but nowhere near as bad as King..

King has murdered 2 people whilst Hearn's worst crime is wearing D&G pyjamas out in public so on that basis I'd have to go with Hearn.

 

Saint Hearn is a great man who was behind the revolution of UK boxing to an extent that his Mushroom UK cards are now Bi Monthly instead of fortnightly and are now hidden away on a 2 bob streaming channel with up to 300 subscribers.

The way Don King damaged boxing and boxers is maybe unbeatable to this moment, but Hearn is definitely trying and capable of doing similar, just in a slickier way.

There is no doubt the King is a scumbag but would Tyson of reached the fame and notoriety he achieved without him? His other options were being controlled by the mob. At the time King was the only person who could keep both the Nation of Islam and the Mob at arms length. At least Hearn is fairly transparent with contracts and money, he takes a fair cut for his service and always pays. When he was the kingpin at Sky no boxer was getting the level of exposure he could offer. Frank has numerous question marks regarding contracts and money, frequently goes bankrupt and has even been shot by an ex employee.
