Exactly, if they spend the time with him honing the natural talent he has he will be a freak that doesn't need power to school other fighters.
Shoving him with different trainers to develop power he won't ever have is wasting his time and real skill set development.
He looked like he regressed last night by standing there and getting hit.

 

Conor Wallace TKO 6 Leti the Yeti - Hell of a fight. The Yeti went on a rampage through the early rounds to take control of the fight but got pinned in a corner in the 6th & the ref stopped it as Wallace unloaded. Legitimately. Great win for Conor Wallace & perhaps a turning point in his career.

Mark Hunt KTFO 4 Sonny Bill Williams - Perhaps Channel Nein & Stan can spend their boxing budget on fighters who actually deserve it from now on? I mean, their money is as good as anyone else's. They should give Conor Wallace a call.

I’m bummed by the SBW result, but also I hope that’s it for him…it’s not just that he’s not a boxer, it’s that he’s old himself.

 

Hell yeah! Don't ever count out the Super Samoan. He always manages to reinvent himself and flip the script with his back against the wall. Hell of a swansong if he decides to bow out... But should he decide to carry on there's quite a few good matchups for him domestically. Rematch with Gallen and Browne would both be sweet fights.

Great to see that smug douche SBW stopped by 48 year old Mark Hunt. SBW will be kicking himself now that he ducked a fight with Gallen for so long.

 

Not a question IF he lost a million by doing so.... Its a question of HOW MANY MILLLION he lost by avoiding him!

Oh, and SBW.... Gallen beat Hunt! (and Browne!! lol)

Just saw the highlights of SBW-Hunt….Hunt, despite being even fatter than he was against Gallen, seemed to have a slightly better gas tank and was throwing more and harder shots. Dunno if he took this fight more seriously or Gallen just tired him out more.

As you’d expect SBW was pretty much beating him up for a lot of the fight without having the power to hurt him. Exactly why it was always a dumb fight for him to take - Gallen already beat him, SBW would get no credit for doing the same, and he was always going to have to fight the full 8 rounds with the constant risk of getting KOd.

 

Cost both of them some serious dollars in that balls up.... good riddance to Dunny Bill, i bet Davey Warner had a smile on his face!

Australia versus The World continues this week with Stevie Spark up against Montana Love in the latter's hometown in the US. Always tough playing away but I reckon Stevie will Spark him. I need a result against the grain in the forum tipping comp so I certainly hope so!

We're still well ahead of the rest of the World & registered another win over perennial rivals New Zealand last Friday night. I find that you can never have too many wins against them. I didn't count the $BW result btw, but I will take this opportunity to observe "Kiwi Down!"

It's not all glory for Australian boxing. We are yet to register a win against the two biggest boxing markets in the world - the US & Europe. Hoping that changes this weekend.
