I'm going to take a slightly diffrent path than the majority and say Taylor by UD.

Depends on what Jermain Taylor we see- we're not talking about someone with a consistent killer instinct and Lacy does have a good chin on him.

Well an old Robin Reid is no Jermain Taylor. My predictio is Taylor destroys him and stops him around 7.

Taylor will knock Lacy out in the mid to late rounds. It should be entertaining but Taylor is a clear favorite. The fight makes sense for Lacy. Taylor has to be one of the bigger paydays out there for him and he is running the risk of getting beat by a Mendoza level fighter with a Mendoza level paycheck. Better to get beat for 500,000 than for a fraction of that.

taylor aint KO' ing Lacy! he couldnt "KO" welterweights corey spinks and kassim ouma. he hasnt had a KO in almost 4 years when the fight comes around. i love how you guys predict "KOs" for every fight when its announced. that kills me!

Rarely have I seen a fighter improve as much in just one fight as we saw JT improve between the two Pavlik fights. For the sake of conversation let's call it 15%. Now imagine if that Jermain Taylor improved another 5%, and showed up to fight the Lacy that went life and death with Mendoza the other night!:yikes :yikes

Taylor wins by UD or possibly late TKO.

It's been a while since I've seen such positivity for Taylor round here.
On the other hand, it's probably the fresh disdain for Lacy that fuelling that for some people.

I think some are underestimating him due to that, but Taylor will have just as strong a desire to remain relevent in the division. He should get the win, I'm leaning towards points.
