    Could go either way prime for prime, but I’d go with Galento. Smith had excellent power and very good stamina, but never fought someone as tricky and dangerous as Galento, who was impossible to train for. Smith also didn’t adjust well midfight and often relied too much on his jab and reach, which cost him against Frazier and Tyson and wouldn’t be very usefull against Galento, since short hooks and uppercuts were Galento’s weakness.

    Just so happened to watch a shot max Baer pound galento into submission today so definitely favoring bone crusher. Smith was really strong too so I don't think galento would have much success with his dirty inside tactics.
