Yet he’s one of Vitali Klitschko’s best wins

 

Most of them were in their prime (Byrd 2000, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Haye, Brock, Barrett, Wach (previously undefeated), Thompson 2008, Peter 2005, etc.), unlike current shop-worn 12 loss former fringe contender Dereck Chisora.

 

When Wlad does it you sing his praises, and when Fury does it you cry about it…

I love the effect that Fury has on his haters.

 

And he was already Fury's leftovers when he swarmed all over Vitali and took rounds off him. Even a green version of Tyson was more impressive in beating Chisora.

 

Two things by the way.

I always felt Haye and Chisora both should ysve fought the other brother to stand a better chance

2. Wlad was a ***** for doing nothing when Chisora spit in his face.

 

I think that was the first fight where Tyson dir really well. It was important. Up untill that point he was a self uppercutting meme that went life and death with Mcdermott and lost the first fight.
It was a much needed win for him at that stage and he looked good.

Its a shame the Haye fight never happened.

 

I know what you're saying. Fury always had more about him than he was given credit for by most fans, but perception is reality, as they say.

Though, that meme perception of Fury persisted right up to the night he beat Klitschko.

Regarding Fury-Haye, I agree. That bout would've significantly altered perceptions of Fury prior to boxing for the championship.

 

Chisora is and always was a bum, old Vitali beat him with one hand.
Fraud I mean Fury fighting same bum a decade later.

 

Vitali was 41 years old and with shoulder injury from 5th round on if I remember correctly.

Wladimir could have and perhaps should have taken on Chisora on, but I don't think there was a really good time or reason for it. When in 2009 Chisora was moving out of eight rounders, Klitschko was on the Chagaev, Chambers, Peter II spree. The same month Chisora faced Fury after getting BBB belt, Wlad was beating Haye. Chisora then moved on to be robbed against Helenius, getting the title shot anyway, losing to an ancient Vitali, and being brutally knocked out by Haye whom Wlad had already beaten.

From then on, Wladimir had better fighters to face: Povetkin, Wach, Pulev, sprinkled with some soft touches that could be forgiven due to decent activity.

Meanwhile, when Dereck tried rebuilt and truly step up, the God of Mischief Tyson Fury ate his souls and shat it out, retiring him in his corner fighting southpaw.

 

Whyte was also Fury’s mandatory so Fury had to fight him or be stripped of the WBC belt. The same ones who where shouting that Fury had never defended a belt and was only fighting Whyte as he had been forced into it quickly changed there narrative when Whyte could not land a glove on Fury in an embarrassing fight which Fury ended in style with an uppercut which put Whyte out of his misery. The narrative then changed to Whyte was garbage,over rated,never been any good and had been knocked out by Povetkin and was a chinny bum who had been matched carefully to get his inflated ranking and title shot .

 

He abandoned the fight with a back injury the first time. Then probably didn't want to give him a payday after the spitting and slapping episodes and Chisora generally being a disgusting animal that all the English treat like a hero and made into a rich man for being able to take a beating. England is a very sick place in modern times.

We should also remember that Fury beat Chisora and yet Chisora was getting these shots with the Klitschkos. Kind of weird K2 weren't calling for Fury. Maybe Fury turned the Klitschko fights down then being so young, but maybe they ducked him because he wasn't small or slow, hard to know.
