Both have the same best excuse: It's not in their interest to fight a guy they can't hurt who's stronger and throws over 100 punches per round without getting tired. Anyway, what either of them would need to do (and what Cotto needed to do) to win would make for a boring and shitty fight.

Well Oscar is old and has the right to fight anyone he wants. Floyd should fight the winner of Margo vs Williams. Oscar can fight whoever the **** he wants to fight. Everyone knows he is past his best. He is just trying to make some more cash and have some more fights before he quits. He already set his legacy a long time ago. PBF doesnt have any real financial need to fight Margo, but if he wants to increase his legacy then beating him, especially now after the Cotto win, will only add to his legacy and his rankings amongst the ATGs.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has to work himself back up to a superfight. If I was Arum I would turn down any fight with Floyd unless he had a championship to bring to the table. If Oscar say's Jump prospect opponent's say how high Mr. De La Hoya.
