I don't see anyone saying that. I just see a comment about that out of the blue, hence my response. There's a constant theme with certain boxing fans attempting to denigrate the skills of MMA fighters, kickboxers etc.
........ My post said nothing about skills. MMA fighters are up there with the most skilled athletes on the planet, imo.
All fighters cut to what they can, to get every advantage they can, fighters cut for a reason. A prime example is Connor McGregor 19-2 at 145 or less and is 3-3 at 155 or more.
It was the leg kicks that forced Izzy to the fence and slowed him down . Alex checked a low kick which means he lifted his own leg in time and turned it so Izzy's foot went numb when he connected to the shin , then Alex unloaded his big punches and got the TKO , the ref saved him from a full on KO . Izzy will be back , he was winning the fight until he wasn't .
so since it was right uppercut that rocked him first ,you should rephrase it and say he can’t handle the power. Anyway who cares ,I am just happy that overrated boring bum got finished again.
Did anyone catch Izzy say “I hate this mother ****er” after the fight. As they were checking him out after fight was waved off.
