Thats looks extreme at first but its only really 2 sets of titles....one won qualified as a British citizen, the other as an Australian.

I think Merchant's old line was "he has six heads, but no chins"...

I was getting excited that some mutant version of Lennox was making a comeback at Middleweight using old-pro Eastman as a starting point to greater things.

never saw the fuss In Eastman, too lazy when he had the chances. Hopkins had no workrate and even Taylor took advantage of that and the Joppy fight.:patsch

Eastman when he was unbeaten was the best middleweight in Britain Europe and was a triple domestic champ with a dominant reign. He could never make that step into REAL world class because his sense of urgency was non-existent. Against Joppy he didnt do anything until it was too late. And against Hopkins he just followed him around the ring and got his ears boxed off. Amazingly he still kept getting title shots after missing out for so many years and failed miserably everytime. By the time that he could even make a diffrence in the 160lb mix he was an old man and his best years had passed by..

Born in Ireland to two Irish parents and he spent the first few years of his life here . He's more Mancunian than anything else though.

Hasn't the problem with Eastman the last few years been that he's been training himself on his own in Guyana and would arrive in Britain about 2 weeks before a fight to work with McCracken ?, It wouldn't make sense for him to go back to Guyana to train on his own and then come back to Britain.
