Sheeraz has moved up 28 places on boxrec without having a fight

Bonkers isn't it. Who does the Boxrec rankings? Is there a proper system in place. I read that the IBO had a proper point system (I know it's a lesser belt). Anybody know if this is true?

 

There's a whole long formula published on how Boxrec updates its rankings, but it's basically a formula rather than something promoters get involved with. Promoters quote Boxrec when it suits them, and petition the alphabet bodies the rest of the time!
