That's a very bleak, sad statement from Callum. I hope he does forgive himself and gets whatever help he needs post fighting.
Hope he gets all the help that he needs. Health comes first, physically and mentally. I know some people that have gone through so much mentally and it's nothing to take lightly. Whatever it is that he has on his mind I sincerely wish him nothing but the best and I respect his decision to hang them up.
Underachieved for his ability/potential but still a good career to be proud of. Always was exciting to watch

Funny this thread popped up I watched his fight vs Beterbiev recently, he gave Beterbiev a good fight and floored him pretty heavily aswell, he had Beterbiev on shaky legs for a moment. Very brave effort from him in that fight IMO.

He announced today on Sky Sports he’s coming back at Cruiserweight. Said he’s 15 stone just now and feeling strong.
Good to hear, he was always great to watch and a bit of an underachiever. Shame we were so close but didn’t get the Smith fight.
Too many injuries sadly. I wish him well and didn't mind him, but injuries/problems out of the ring always held him back unfortunately.
Crusierweight has recently completed it's mandatory once-a-decade immolation. It's a wasteland right now. Johnson can likely score a payday if he acts now.
