Great fighter that Marvin Hearns guy, almost unbeatable. But I saw a guy who would give him a nightmare or two… The sheer physical strength and limitless stamina of Carlos Monzon with the punching power and chin of Gerald McClennan. (Tbh I could have used Monzon’s chin I guess, but wanted a bit of an equal balance.) Now this guy Carlos McClennan would be a bit of a top boy I think.
Heavyweight: Holmes Lewis Ali Bowe Louis Holyfield Think that covers all fighting distances/ranges, punch variety, punching mechanics, physicalz/athletic attributes & intangibles in a heavyweight, excluding a southpaw but whatevs. Was thinking of throwing Liston or Foreman in the mix, but there'd be too much overlap. 5 of the 6 already have all time great jabs, and the physicality of Holyfield mixed with the size and strength of Lewis & Bowe make up for the lack of these guys.
I would start with the template of Duran. I would give him the speed and combos of Medrick Taylor. ( In reality, this is probably the closest we can get to real life Harry Greb ) Then, to make him unstoppable. Give him the height and power of Iran Barkley.
